Motivation is unreliable. Some days you have it, most days you don’t. If you wait until you “feel like it,” you’ll always find a reason to skip it.
The people who move consistently aren’t more motivated. They’ve just built it into their routine. It’s a habit—like brushing your teeth. You don’t debate it. You just do it.
One of the biggest mistakes I see is people setting the bar too high. They think it only counts if it’s a full, intense workout. But movement doesn’t have to be extreme to be effective. Ten minutes counts. A walk counts. Starting small counts.
And here’s the part most people get backwards: action creates motivation—not the other way around. Once you start, it’s easier to keep going. But waiting to feel ready keeps you stuck.
Not every workout will feel good. Some will feel like a grind. That’s normal. The goal isn’t to love every second. The goal is to build trust with yourself. To show yourself that you can follow through.
You don’t need more motivation.
You need a plan, realistic expectations, and consistency.
Start small. Stay consistent. Let motivation catch up later
